The New Instagram Formula to Grow RAPIDLY!
Step-by-step formula to get your content in front of the right audience and grow your Instagram account
This strategy has my clients going viral with the RIGHT audience that wants to follow, engage and buy.
The “hook - value - CTA” strategy isn’t enough anymore.
I make it my job to analyze and reverse-engineer social media algorithms and HERE is the new formula.
I call it the “post office strategy” and basically what this means is pretend you are mailing the most perfect gift ever to your friend who lives far away. She is going to absolutely LOVE IT.
But guess what? It’s never going to get to your friend if you don’t know how to send it to her.
You need to know how to wrap / package the present, address it, stamp it and drop it off at the post office. Otherwise, it doesn’t matter how perfect your gift is if the post office doesn’t know how to get it to her.
In the social media context, the algorithms are the post office.
So, you need to create your content so that it is perfect for your ideal audience, but also know how to “package” it in a way that the algorithm can quickly and easily know exactly what to do with your content.
I call this the POSTAL method. And it is pure gold.
P - Prepare high-value content for your ideal audience and the algorithm.
The algorithm is pushing content that gets watch time, shares, and comments. The type of content that is doing the best in the algorithm right now: relatable content, memes, humor, and quick step-by-step tutorials.
So, the key is to think of valuable content for your audience and then format it in a style that the algorithm loves (see bullet point above).
O - Optimize for the algorithm.
S - Strong AF Hooks. Hooks need to be stronger than ever right now, and they need to keep your viewer engaged throughout the entirety of your content.
T - Two or three things happening at all times that would keep the attention of even the most ADHD squirrel. People’s attention span is sooooooo low these days, especially when scrolling social media. To keep people engaged, you need to have at least 2-3 “activities” happening at all times in your reel. The goal is to prevent the viewer’s brain from even having a second to think “hmm am I bored here? should I scroll to the next thing?”
I make sure there are always 3+ of the below happening at once in my reels:
on screen text popping up. I always add additional on-screen text that further explains / adds additional commentary to the video.
closed captions. Always, always used closed captions if you are talking.
interesting video - this can be either or both the main event in a video or a “side/background” event (like talking while making a coffee or doing makeup)
Audio intrigue - like waiting for a beat to drop
Waiting for the “answer” or “mystery to be solved” from a strong hook
A - Add in several, strategic calls to action. I almost always include a CTA (call-to-action) on screen in my reel and then several in the comments.

Comment a keyword to get a lead magnet.

Follow to achieve goal (ex. “follow me to grow faster and smarter on Instagram!)
L - Leave replies to every comment with keywords & questions. The algorithm is reading your comments and replies, too! Make sure that you respond to every comment on your reel. You responses should intentionally add in SEO keywords. To increase engagement even more, ask a follow-up questions in your comment reply. Hopefully, the person will reply back again. Now, you’ve turned one comment into THREE comments and strengthened your SEO for the algorithm - all of which causes the algorithm to push your content out even more and to the right people.
