How I get HUNDREDS of Leads EVERY DAY from Instagram
No one wants your freebie or lead magnet. Do this instead!
If you are promoting your lead magnet but not getting leads, here are 3 genius ways I get hundreds of leads every day on social media:
Change your messaging. Stop saying “comment ____ on my post to get my free guide!” People are SO OVER this - no one wants another basic AF, boring free guide (and that is exactly what it sounds like when you talk about your freebie or lead magnet like this). Instead, choose one juicy tip or section of your lead magnet, and promote that instead.
Example:
Don’t say: Comment “___” to get my FREE guide to lowering your cortisol.
Instead, say: Comment "____” below to learn the 3 foods I would eat today to wake up feeling energized tomorrow.
Work backwards. Think of a really juicy, helpful tip for your audience / ideal customer and think about the best ways you think you could create a piece of content teasing that juicy tip. Then, create a new lead magnet or add that juicy tip to an existing lead magnet. VOILA!
Change it up. Gone are the days of needing a pretty, branded, polished lead magnet. People want the info. I create new lead magnets several times a week. You can use Manychat to collect email addresses in DMs and then just DM them the info - you can set all this up (including the lead magnet DM) in less than 5 minutes. Some other things you can do is create a little google doc, record a short video and post it on Youtube and send people that link in exchange for their email, or make a quick little writeup on Substack (like this one) and send the link as the lead magnet.
