Lovable is giving away free access to their AI app builder tomorrow. All day. March 8. For International Women’s Day.

If you don’t know Lovable, here’s the short version: you tell it what you want to build in normal English, and it builds a working app. Not a mockup. Not a wireframe. A real thing you can use.

I’ve been using it alongside Claude Code to prototype stuff fast, and it’s genuinely one of the better tools out there right now.

The SheBuilds Deal

Lovable is calling this SheBuilds. It’s their International Women’s Day initiative. For 24 hours on March 8, the platform is free. Free credits, free builds, no credit card.

That’s it. No catch that I can see.

What You Could Actually Build With This

A landing page for your business. A booking system. A client portal with login. A simple CRM or project tracker for your team. A membership site.

One of my friends built an entire course platform prototype in Lovable in about 40 minutes. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked. And she’d never written a line of code.

The trick is being specific. Don’t say “build me a website.” Say “build me a coaching business landing page with a hero section, three pricing tiers, testimonials from clients, and a button that links to my Calendly.” The more detail you give it, the better the output.

How to Use It Tomorrow

1. Go to Lovable on March 8. The free access runs all day.

2. Sign up if you haven’t. Takes about 30 seconds.

3. Type what you want to build. Be specific.

4. Watch it generate your app. Then tell it what to change.

That’s the whole process.

A Few Things I’ve Learned Using It

Pick one idea. Don’t try to build five things in one day. Go deep on one.

Your first version will be rough. That’s fine. Tell Lovable what’s wrong with it. It gets better with each round of feedback.

Use Claude to plan first. Before you even open Lovable, ask Claude to help you map out what your app should do. What pages does it need? What features? What’s the flow? Then bring that plan to Lovable. Way better results.

Screenshot your progress. Even if you run out of time or credits, you’ll have a record of what you built. You can come back to it later.

The Bigger Picture

Two years ago, building an app meant hiring a developer or spending months learning to code. Now you can describe what you want and have a working version in under an hour.

That’s not hype. I’ve watched it happen. I’ve done it myself.

Tomorrow it’s free. If you’ve been sitting on an idea for an app, a tool, a platform, whatever, this is a good excuse to just try it.
